The Charles H. Revson Foundation is committed to improving societal well-being in various domains. Those wishing to apply for a grant should go to www.revsonfoundation.org and submit a letter of inquiry describing the proposed project. Upon receiving a letter of inquiry, Foundation staff may invite the submission of a full proposal. All proposals are invitation-only and will be submitted using the Foundation's online portal, Foundant. A proposal should include the following information: background and objectives of the project, methods to be used in carrying it out, detailed budget for the proposed project, organization's annual budget, and other information, as applicable. Proposals are reviewed by Foundation staff and acted on by the board of directors at regular meetings; select proposals for amounts of up to $50,000 may be approved by the Foundation President without board authorization.

A proposal for funding by the Charles H. Revson Foundation should fall within the Foundation's program areas: urban affairs in New York City; education; biomedical research; and Jewish life. The Foundation supports ongoing fellowship programs in public service and biomedical research. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals, endowments, local health appeals, projects located outside of the United States or Israel, or capital or building campaigns.
