The mission of the First Ascent Charitable Foundation is to enrich, educate, and better communities through the support of charities and organizations the family behind the foundation is passionate about. It focuses on supporting the development, growth, and achievement of women in education, business, and entrepreneurship, protecting mountain environments and promoting human-powered activities, advocating for experiential education and training to increase awareness and appreciation of wild places, and strengthening the community in Boulder County through local organizations and causes.
