Established on May 20, 1954, by Mary Josephine Hamman, the Foundation's mission is to support various societal needs. It aims to assist students in obtaining higher education through scholarships, promote the arts, support scientific projects, advance religion through aid to churches and religious organizations, support colleges and universities in operational and capital needs, provide aid for the needy, and assist medical institutions in disease study, treatment, and cure.
