The Sam L. Cohen Foundation aims to enhance community life in Southern Maine through support in areas of arts and culture, civic and community development, education, health and human services, and Jewish culture and traditions. It seeks to empower underserved communities, stimulate creativity, promote education, improve health and wellbeing, and preserve Jewish heritage, focusing on systemic change, access to opportunities, and collaborative efforts for social benefit.
