The United by Sport grant program supports organizations that utilize sport or operate within the sport sector to fight hate and discrimination. The program provides funding for projects and initiatives that fulfill one or more of the following goals: enhancing access to coaching that incorporates anti-discrimination practices, increasing availability of facilities where anti-discrimination methods are used, strengthening the use of sport as a tool for education on and the fight against systemic discrimination, expanding community-based sports programs aimed at addressing the root causes and impacts of hate and discrimination, and improving equity outcomes along with a reduction in community indicators of hate and discrimination.
