Overview

The grant program supports nonprofit organizations working within the following priority areas: Health and Human Services, Hunger, Youth and Education, Veterans, and Supporting Diversity and Inclusion of All Abilities. The Foundation requires all donation and grant requests in California to have an employee sponsor from Safeway or Vons. This program reviews applications on a quarterly basis and typically takes at least six weeks to respond after the application process closes.
