The Livestock Operator Fire and Flood Assistance Program (LOFFAP) Grant aims to provide funding support to landowners and lessees of a livestock operation adversely affected by wildfires and associated flooding. The program’s purpose is to aid in the reconstruction of infrastructure that has been damaged. With a funding pool sourced from the livestock operator fire and flood assistance fund and established appropriations by the legislature, the grant caps individual awards at $250,000 for damages resulting from a single event. The program allows for multiple grants to be awarded, ensuring broad support to affected operations.
