The mission of the Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) is to foster the preservation and study of sound recordings in all genres of music and speech, in all formats, and from all periods.
The ARSC Grants Program aims to promote scholarship and publication in the field of sound recordings and audio preservation. It supports a wide range of projects including discography, bibliography, historical studies of the sound recording industry, and projects that enhance public understanding of recorded sound's significance. Grants are available to both ARSC members and non-members, with funding amounts up to $1000.
