From California Institute for Regenerative Medicine

The mission of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) is to accelerate world-class science to deliver transformative regenerative medicine treatments in an equitable manner to a diverse California and world.

    Type of Support

    Overview

The Conference Grants program by CIRM aims to fund scientific conferences that concentrate on cutting-edge research from discovery to clinical stages or address critical challenges in regenerative medicine. The program seeks to support conferences that align with CIRM’s goals, prioritizing those focusing on stem cell-based therapy and discovery, as well as stem cell biology. This initiative allows funding up to $2,000,000 biennially through two mechanisms: one where the grantee has full responsibility for the conference, and another where the grantee collaborates closely with CIRM to meet a specific need.
