CDC works 24/7 to protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S.
This grant aims to enhance the capacity of public health emergency partners for rapid response in supporting populations affected by humanitarian emergencies and conflict settings. It focuses on increasing the ability to detect and respond to threats early, and to develop sustainable programs for rebuilding resilience during and after emergencies. The grant will create an Approved-But-Unfunded (ABU) list of recipients ready to work globally, and fund partners to address emergencies necessitating federal support to tackle public health threats effectively.
