The grant program aims to foster collaboration among multiple organizations, perspectives, and disciplines to tackle complex problems that demand an integrated and resource-intensive approach. It encourages applying principles of collective impact to achieve significant, measurable progress. Competitive applicants will tightly align their collaboration's purpose with the funder's focus areas, address key community health challenges through diverse efforts, contribute resources, employ evidence-based practices, and possess transformative potential. The focus areas include expanding access to healthcare, preventing suicide and trauma, and cultivating healthy environments through increased physical activity, access to healthy food, and affordable housing solutions.

  • Grant requests must align with the Colorado Springs Health Foundation’s mission and funding focus areas
  • Preferred not to be the sole, majority, and/or continuous funding source
  • Organizations can submit another grant request only after spending down the current grant, submitting the final grant report, and having it approved
  • Starting Jan. 1, 2023, organizations can submit no more than one grant request per year assuming no current grants are open
