The Community Trust is part of the Community Foundation Boulder County and aims to inspire action around current and future needs across Boulder County. It is committed to addressing a wide range of needs through discretionary grantmaking.

Type of Support

Overview

The Community Trust grant program supports initiatives in Boulder County in several areas, including animal care and welfare, arts and culture, civic engagement, education, environment, and health and human services. Unlike in previous years, applications for all focus areas are now accepted simultaneously, streamlining the process for applicants. Grants typically range from $1,000 to $9,000 and are awarded for general operating support. Organizations are allowed to apply once and must do so online.

  • Grants available for specific projects, unrestricted operating expenses, capital campaigns, endowments, and technical assistance

Ineligibility

Organizations that have already received funding for a particular program in a calendar year from multiple Community Trust funding categories or Community Foundation funds
Organizations intending to use grant money from unrestricted or field of interest funds to further a particular political or religious doctrine.
