The Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes aims to build community and inspire philanthropy by supporting creative, effective, and innovative programs across various sectors including human services, arts and culture, education and youth, health, environment, and civic affairs. They focus on projects that address community needs while ensuring sustainable impact, promoting diversity, and emphasizing the inclusion of underserved and economically diverse populations.
The Edith Saxton Fund for Steuben County Youth Services provides grants to support not-for-profit projects, programs, and organizations aiming to enhance the quality of life for youth in Steuben County. The grants cover a broad spectrum of needs, focusing primarily on three categories: Program or Direct Service Grants for implementing programs, Capital Grants for construction or equipment related expenses, and Organizational Development and Capacity Building Grants for activities like strategic planning, board development, and program planning, among others. Prospective applicants are encouraged to consult with the Community Foundation staff and contact the Vice President of Programs if applying for grants exceeding $10,000.
Priority will be allocated to funding projects that concentrate on supporting young people in the Bath Area.
