The Ramble Charitable Fund aims to improve the quality of life in designated Buncombe County communities through supporting education, economic development, health care, and other projects that promote community development.
The Ramble Charitable Fund offers grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 for nonprofit organizations and public agencies. These grants are intended for programmatic needs, capital campaigns, and operating expenses. Priority is given to projects that offer significant benefits to the Buncombe County communities in areas such as education, economic development, health care, and various community development initiatives, including the arts and quality of life improvements. Projects aimed primarily at benefiting the Ramble community itself are not the focus. The fund seeks proposals that show a strong potential for community impact. Annual requests for operating funds may be considered a lower priority. Endorsement letters from benefiting organizations, other than the applicant, are required. All projects should be planned for completion within one year of receiving the award.
