The "Pathways for Older Adults" grant program seeks to improve the overall quality of life for older adults by supporting projects and programs that facilitate healthy aging, enhance access to information, resources, and benefits, and enable seniors to age safely and successfully within their communities. The grants endorse a variety of causes including education, arts, creative expression, and intergenerational projects. Specifically, it aims to develop core programs that better connect older adults with essential services, conduct community conversations on aging to plan effectively for senior needs, enhance library services for the elderly, and prioritize collaborative projects that offer innovative, cost-effective solutions to common challenges faced by the elderly population.

Groups not eligible to apply for a grant include: Requests for political or religious purposes
Requests for capital expenditures on buildings not owned by a nonprofit.

Review Criteria

We welcome applications that aim to:

  • Deliver programs or assistance to communities within our designated area covering 21 towns
  • Contribute to system reform and advocate for meaningful change
  • Offer backing for essential non-profit operational needs, including employee salaries, overhead costs, and performance assessment
  • Prioritize support for organizations directed by individuals from Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) groups
