Connecticut Humanities champions the enduring value of public humanities in our lives and civil society. It aims to inspire storytelling, lifelong learning, informed public dialogue, and civic engagement through grant funding and capacity building, ensuring that the public humanities strengthen communities and enhance the quality of life for all Connecticut's residents.
The Connecticut Humanities Fund (CTHF) Capacity Building Grants aim to empower Connecticut organizations that present humanities to the public. The grants support projects focused on improving organizational effectiveness in areas such as board operations, strategic marketing, audience engagement, financial management, fundraising, collections management, interpretive services, and technology utilization. These initiatives are designed to enhance the organizations' understanding of their audiences, assets, and operations for more impactful delivery of their missions.
