The KiMe Fund aims to cure Parkinson's Disease before the next generation of children is diagnosed. It was established to drive research, awareness, and efforts towards finding a cure for Parkinson's Disease, reflecting a personal commitment spurred by the founder's diagnosis.

The grant program by the Arts Fund for East Tennessee in 2024 is focused on celebrating the region's rich artistic expressions and cultural diversity. It supports projects that sustain cultural traditions and promote all forms of artistic expression. The grants, awarded for two-year terms starting in July 2024, will range from $5,000 to $15,000.

  • Professional arts organizations must be located in and serve the ETF’s 25-county service area
  • Organizations with art-related programming, but not primarily art-based, are eligible

Projects with explicit religious content, express a particular religious view, limit participation based on faith affiliation, or require participation in religious activities or services

Submission

Review Criteria

Priority will be given to: Groups that expand access to art for marginalized communities, including through engagement initiatives; Public exhibitions and performances aimed at integrating art into the day-to-day experiences of the broader community; Community-based arts groups; and Initiatives that honor the arts and traditions of communities that have traditionally been overlooked.
