The KiMe Fund aims to cure Parkinson's Disease before the next generation of children is diagnosed. It was established to drive research, awareness, and efforts towards finding a cure for Parkinson's Disease, reflecting a personal commitment spurred by the founder's diagnosis.

The grant program of the Margaret M. and Harley H. Wachs Youth Leadership Fund emphasizes nurturing leadership abilities and social engagement among middle and/or high school youth in Johnson County. It supports projects and activities that:

  3. Facilitate travel for leadership development opportunities.

  • Institutions outside Johnson County are eligible if they operate programs within or benefit youth of Johnson County

Review Criteria

Priority will be extended to entities whose initiatives involve motivating young individuals through the cultivation of leadership abilities, collaborating with community groups, educational institutions, and various establishments centered on youth.
