Type of Support

Overview

The Edison International Linework Scholarship Program, in collaboration with IBEW Local 47, aims to diversify the field of SCE lineworkers by providing scholarships up to $25,000. This initiative supports the costs of tuition, tools, and necessary support services for completing training at the Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. Upon graduation and meeting additional requirements such as obtaining a Class A driver's license and fulfilling SCE pre-employment conditions, recipients are qualified for entry-level skilled trade positions at SCE. The program lasts about 12 months and highlights Edison International's commitment to education and skill development in the energy sector.
