The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada funds visionaries, explorers and innovators who are searching for the scientific and technical breakthroughs that will benefit our country. We are Canada’s largest supporter of discovery and innovation.
The Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s (CGS M) Program aims to help develop research skills and train highly qualified personnel by providing financial support to students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in undergraduate and early graduate studies. The program supports up to 2,500 students annually across all disciplines. The financial support enables scholars to focus fully on their studies in their chosen fields. Specifically, the program supports eligible master’s or, in some cases, doctoral programs within Canada, facilitating scholars' academic pursuits without the interruption of financial concerns.
