Pianos: E. K. Sloane Piano Fund Grant

From Hampton Roads Community Foundation

We are the largest provider of grants and scholarships in Hampton Roads with a mission of making life better for all who live here.

Type of Support

Overview

The E.K. Sloane Fund offers grants specifically aimed at assisting nonprofit organizations in purchasing or repairing pianos, mainly for public performances. With a strong regional focus on Hampton Roads, these grants are available not only to nonprofit groups but also to schools, including public and independent institutions in the area. Religious organizations are eligible as well, provided the pianos are used for public performances. The initiative reflects a broader goal of enhancing cultural and musical access and education within the community, fostering a vibrant arts scene supported by high-quality instruments.
