Overview

The IBM Sustainability Accelerator grant program targets broad goals related to the sustainable management of water and sanitation. It supports projects that leverage technology such as AI, cloud-based data security, and IoT solutions to improve water quality, forecast water conditions, manage water assets, and predict climate impacts on water infrastructure. By focusing on advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6, the grant aims to directly support vulnerable populations by improving water access and sanitation at scale. Each year, IBM selects around five organizations to form a cohort focusing on addressing specific sustainability issues in the field of water management.
