Type of Support

Overview

The Foundation's grant program is dedicated to supporting institutions within the State of Texas that align with its primary interests in healthcare improvement. This includes nursing programs, healthcare clinics serving the underserved populations, mental health programs, as well as medical research and healthcare education, specifically within the Greater Houston region. The process begins with a preliminary written inquiry to assess whether the project aligns with the Foundation’s interests. If positive, a detailed request will be considered, potentially followed by a site visit from Foundation staff or trustees. Grant proposals can be strengthened with supplementary narrative materials to better articulate the nature, goals, and necessity of the project. Typically, the Foundation does not provide multi-year grants but encourages matching grants and collaborative efforts to maximize impact.
