The EAR Instrumentation and Facilities Program (EAR/IF) seeks proposals for research infrastructure necessary for groundbreaking discoveries in Earth sciences. This includes equipment acquisition or upgrades, new instrumentation or technique development, technician support, community facility support, and planning for continental drilling. The program prioritizes proposals that support the U.S. Earth science community, emphasizing contributions to understanding the Earth system, training in geosciences, and promoting principles of belonging, accessibility, justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (BAJEDI).
