Type of Support

Overview

The grant program's primary goal is to support high school equivalency testing centers through discretionary grants for purchasing equipment, furniture, IT, and training support. Specifically, it seeks to facilitate the transition from paper-based to computer-based high school equivalency testing, add the GED as a testing option, and expand the testing seat capacity at existing centers. This initiative aims to prevent delays in test delivery and scoring, increase the efficiency of score reporting, reduce the need for physical storage of test materials, decrease administrative preparation time, improve access to testing accommodations, and increase overall testing capacity. The total funding available for this grant is $35,000, with applications accepted on a rolling basis.
