To ensure that the role of the arts in the life of our communities will continue to grow and will play an evermore significant part in the welfare and educational experience of our citizens.
The Community Arts Access Tier 1 & 2 grant aims to provide financial support up to $4,000 for arts activities to both arts and non-arts organizations, as well as unincorporated groups. The program’s broad goals are to enhance the quality of programming and expand audiences across rural and urban areas while building organizational capacity. It specifically supports the promotion of knowledge and appreciation of the arts within North Dakota. The types of initiatives funded include general operating costs for new or emerging arts organizations, various arts activities such as festivals, exhibitions, performance series, and projects related to underserved communities.
