The Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society aims to foster academia and industry-based research and development of oligonucleotide therapeutics. The society envisions a new era of oligonucleotide drugs that vastly impacts therapeutic modalities, much like antibodies have revolutionized human therapeutics.
The Local Delivery Grant by the Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society supports events organized by OTS members to promote knowledge sharing among researchers in oligonucleotide therapeutics, professional development, and networking. Eligible activities for funding include local symposia, networking events, journal clubs or seminar series, professional development workshops, diversity promotion events, and discussion panels on trends in oligonucleotide therapeutics. Applications are reviewed biannually, with successful events being those that provide significant benefit to oligonucleotide researchers, especially junior scientists.
