Paws for Love Foundation Grant

From Paws for Love Foundation

The Paws for Love Foundation's mission is to provide resources and funding to shelters, rescue groups, and individuals to improve the health, welfare, and adoptability of unwanted and abused animals. Their goal is to provide a safety net for these animals, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to find a permanent home, including lifesaving surgeries for injured pets, reimbursement of adoption fees for seniors, or other rescue-related expenses.

Type of Support

Overview

The Paws for Love Foundation offers grants with a current restriction towards sick and injured pets, with a maximum provision of $1000. The grant program aims to support animals in shelters or rescue environments, including those being fostered and rehabilitated for adoption. Key principles guiding the grant include relevancy to the foundation's mission, the availability of funds, and the feasibility of the funds achieving a positive outcome for the animals. Specific causes supported are those that enhance the health, welfare, and adoptability of pets in need, providing them with a second chance and hope for a better future. The grant has limitations, such as a preference for matching funds when other resources are available, and the final funding amounts are decided by the Board of Directors.
