The Retirement Research Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for the nation's older adults. As one of the first private foundations focused solely on aging and retirement issues, RRF is dedicated to supporting innovative solutions that address the increasing urgency of challenges faced by aging populations.
The Retirement Research Foundation's Organizational Capacity Building (OCB) Grants program aims to enhance the effectiveness of nonprofits in Illinois, particularly those serving older adults. The grants facilitate long-term improvements in various areas critical to organizational success, including strategic planning, financial management, program evaluation, communication strategies, fundraising, human resources, technology enhancements, and governance. By funding consulting, training, technology, and other capacity-building activities, these grants help organizations better fulfill their missions and serve their communities. Additional support for technical assistance is also available to grantees for further professional development and efficiency improvement.
