Since 1984, RMEF has focused on conserving or enhancing over 8 million acres of prime elk habitat in North America. Their efforts aim to sustain and improve the conditions of wildlife habitats, ensuring the preservation and appreciation of elk country.
The Project Advisory Committee (PAC) Grant Program, offered by RMEF, aims to support habitat enhancement, wildlife management, and research projects across 28 states home to wild, free-ranging elk herds. The program funds science-based initiatives that directly benefit elk and other wildlife, enhance their habitats, or gather necessary data for better elk population management.
