Rupert Dunklau Foundation Grant

The Rupert Dunklau Foundation's mission is to glorify God and serve His will by providing financial resources for varying ministries within the Lutheran tradition, particularly the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, educational entities of the Lutheran faith, and projects that enhance the welfare of mankind. Established in 1968 by Rupert and Ruth Dunklau, the Foundation seeks to distribute the blessings received from God to support causes aligned with their Christian faith.

The Rupert Dunklau Foundation Grant aims to support programs and organizations that further education within the Lutheran tradition, enhance health and human care through collaborative efforts, and strengthen faith among individuals and their families. Specifically, it seeks to fund initiatives that:

  • Foster Lutheran education through processes, efforts, and programs that encourage continued learning and service to meet diverse human needs.
  • Support health and human care initiatives that take collaborative and results-oriented approaches to addressing the needs of people both within the Church and in broader communities.
  • Enhance faith strengthening by supporting ministries that empower individuals and families to both live and articulate their Christian faith effectively. The grant process begins with an inquiry application, reviewed by the Executive Director, followed by an official application upon approval.
