The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Foundation aims to enhance the well-being of employees and the performance of organizations through the science and application of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
The William A. Owens Scholarly Achievement Award recognizes exceptional publications in the field of industrial and organizational psychology. This award honors the best publication in a refereed journal over the past year, aligning with Owens' legacy in biodata research and contributions to SIOP. Open to SIOP members as authors, the award emphasizes publications with a significant potential impact on I-O psychology, without restrictions on journal specifics, provided it's peer-reviewed and relevant to the field. Winners receive a plaque and a $1,500 cash prize, which is shared for co-authored works.
