Stay Work Play aims to attract and retain young talent in New Hampshire by recognizing and celebrating young individuals and businesses that contribute significantly to creating a vibrant community that encourages younger demographics to stay, work, and play in the state.
The Rising Stars Awards, a joint initiative with New Hampshire Public Radio, focus on honoring New Hampshire's young people under 40 and the businesses that excel in attracting and retaining them. The grant consists of seven categories, including Artist of the Year, Changemaker of the Year, College Student of the Year, Coolest Employer for Young People, Entrepreneur of the Year, High School Student of the Year, and Young Person of the Year. Each category aims to celebrate those who contribute to making New Hampshire a lively and attractive state for the younger generation through their creative, entrepreneurial, academic, professional, and civic efforts.
