The Unitarian Universalist Funding Program (UUFP) is a denominational grantmaking program of the Unitarian Universalist Association. Its mission is to promote the influence of Unitarian Universalist principles through grantmaking by supporting the work of social justice, strengthening Unitarian Universalist institutions, transforming gratitude for being into generosity of living, and making Unitarian Universalism more visible in the world.
Guidelines Grants are made to Unitarian Universalist (UU) organizations in the U.S., Mexico and Canada that:
Funding Priorities Priority is given to innovative, challenging or experimental programs that will have wide denominational impact or that address needs unmet by the institutional structure of the denomination. We rarely make grants for projects where the impact is limited to the applicant organization. Applications for conferences or meetings must detail measurable outcomes, products or services that will result from the event.
We prefer projects with plans for income from diverse sources, including contributions from the members of the group applying.
