Type of Support

Overview

The Innovation Challenge by UWGNB aims to encourage organizations in Greater New Bedford to adopt innovative approaches to address challenges in early education and childcare. The grant focuses on supporting experimental projects that explore new ways to enhance efficiency or impact in these sectors. Specifically, it seeks to fund innovative, collaborative projects that connect access to early childhood education and care with increasing economic mobility for caregivers. Projects may include reimagining the design of programs or services, building capacity within or across organizations, and leading cross-sector collaborations. Funding is available for up to three years, with up to $100,000 for individual projects and up to $175,000 for collaborative efforts, contingent on the achievement of project milestones.
