The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ) mission is to produce evidence to make healthcare safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable, and to work within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and with other partners to make sure that the evidence is understood and used.
This grant aims to support health services research that aligns with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ) priorities. These priorities include improving healthcare quality and patient safety, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare delivery and practice improvement, and promoting whole-person healthcare. The grant encourages applications for research in all healthcare settings such as hospitals, long-term care, ambulatory care, home healthcare, pharmacy, and during transitions between these settings. It seeks research that involves a variety of stakeholders including patients, families, clinicians, healthcare staff, and policymakers among others, to address its broad goals.
