Overview

This grant program aims to support multisite clinical trials and observational studies that align with the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Networks. Its overarching goals are to enhance the rigor and reproducibility of clinical trial protocols, broaden the availability of multisite clinical trial infrastructure for a more extensive range of investigators, facilitate data sharing and access to biospecimens, and expand research capacity efficiently. Additionally, it seeks to encourage greater involvement of diverse populations in multisite clinical trials. This initiative will utilize NICHD-supported Clinical Research Network infrastructure to promote the funding and support of high-quality science in a manner that is timely, transparent, equitable, and cost-effective.
