Type of Support

Overview

This grant program is designed to support projects that contribute to expanding, improving, or radically transforming the practical application of mammalian cancer and tumor models in translational research. The National Cancer Institute seeks proposals demonstrating that these models or their derivatives provide a robust representation of human biology and can address clinical questions with reliable outcomes for patient benefit. Projects may include but are not limited to overcoming translational deficiencies in oncology models, exploring new uses of models for translational challenges, enhancing standard practices, validating and credentialing models, or challenging existing methodologies for translational application of models.
