The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) provides equitable health care to the nation’s highest-need communities. Our programs support people with low incomes, people with HIV, pregnant people, children, parents, rural communities, transplant patients, and the health workforce.
The Promote Mental Health Among the Health Professional Workforce (PMHW) program aims to enhance the wellness, resilience, and mental health of health care professionals. It supports health care entities like hospitals, community health centers, rural health clinics, and medical professional associations. This is achieved through the use of established or enhanced evidence-based or evidence-informed programs focused on transforming organizational cultures to better support the mental health of the health care workforce.
