    The grant program is designed to enhance mental health outcomes for children and youth, birth through age 21, who are at risk for or with serious emotional disturbances (SED), and their families. It aims to support the implementation, expansion, and integration of the System of Care (SOC) approach. This involves creating sustainable infrastructure and services as part of the Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and their Families Program. The overarching goal is to prepare affected children and youth for a successful transition to adulthood, including the assumption of adult roles and responsibilities.
