We deliver conservation solutions so agricultural producers can protect natural resources and feed a growing world.
The Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) aims at promoting effective coordination between the NRCS and its partners to offer conservation assistance to producers and landowners. This program integrates the powers of four prior conservation efforts, enhancing the delivery of assistance under the guidelines of the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP), and the Healthy Forests Reserve Program (HFRP), plus certain areas operating under the Watershed Operations and Flood Prevention Program. The grant specifically supports causes in Rhode Island related to energy efficiency, fish and wildlife habitat, plant health, soil health and erosion, water quality, and water quantity.
