Types of facilities supported include healthcare, public amenities, community support services, public safety services, educational resources, and utility services focused on telemedicine or distance learning, as well as local food systems infrastructure. The grant's approval hinges on the applicants' eligibility, with funding scales adjusting based on the community's size and median household income, emphasizing support for smaller, lower-income communities.
