Overview

The Transition Readiness Grant (TRG) program is aimed at supporting Wisconsin’s students with disabilities to smoothly transition to competitive work and post-secondary education environments after high school. With a base funding of $1,500,000, established under 2017 Act 59, the program targets evidence-based practices that facilitate this transition. Eligible entities, including school districts and charter schools, can apply for funding to cover transportation options, Competitive Integrated Employment Training Programs, post-secondary tuition/supports for students, and transition training for staff members.
