Applications and complete instructions are available on the website: http://www.belmontsavingsfoundation.com/belmont-savings -bank-foundation-grants Applicants submitting proposals for funding should be prepared to provide the following materials with their applications: (i) an organizational summary; (ii) specific purpose for funding request; (iii) an explanation for the need of the project/service in the community; (iv) an overall budget for the proposal; (v) a copy of the applicant's most recently audited financial statements; (vi) an explanation for how the success of the proposal and use of funds is to be measured; (vii) applicant's grant activity and funding from other sources; and (viii) information on the applicant's Executive Director.

Grants are awarded quarterly: January 15th, April 15th, July 15th & October 15th
Restrictions
The role of the Belmont Savings Bank Foundation is to support not-for-profit groups, institutions, schools and other organizations as a way of adding to the quality of life for people living in the Belmont community. Awards are generally limited to the Belmont community. Grant recipients must demonstrate Section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(1) status and relevance to the Foundation's mission. The Foundation does not provide financial support for political organizations or candidates, activities for religious purposes, contributions to individual endeavors or scholarships.
