Overview

The Avion Takes Action grant program is centered on enhancing quality of life by supporting non-profit organizations working in critical areas such as basic needs, healthcare, education, veterans' affairs, and environmental sustainability. Grants are designed to ensure ongoing support within the local communities of Avion's employee owners, with at least two $5,000 grants awarded quarterly. Applications are accepted year-round, with unsuccessful applications automatically reconsidered in the next grant cycle. Non-profits can receive an award once every 24 months.

  • Mission must support Quality of Life priorities defined in Mission Statement
  • Community-based organization operating in areas where Avion Solutions employees reside
  • 100% of grant monies must be used in the area where Avion Solutions employees reside
  • Services must be open to all members of the community regardless of race, religion, political affiliation, ability to pay, or background

Review Criteria

Organizations That Cannot Receive Funding:

  • Private individuals or groups based on fellowship
  • Private charitable trusts
  • Government-funded entities
  • Groups focused on social engagement, such as fraternities, sororities, or alumni associations
  • Sports teams or their supporting entities
  • Professional membership bodies
  • Youth scouting groups
  • Entities involved in political activities or campaigns
  • Faith-based organizations not recognized for their community services beyond religious outreach
