Overview

The Arts Integration Training (AIT) and Arts Education Exposure grant programs aim to expand arts learning opportunities by supporting the activities in diverse settings for infants, children, and youth. The AIT grant, specifically, provides up to $25,000 annually to nonprofit arts organizations and teaching artists for the planning and delivery of professional development in arts integration strategies for educators at various levels. These projects should enable equitable student learning in the arts and can be implemented alone or alongside an Artists in Schools project, requiring collaboration among nonprofit arts organizations, teaching artists, and educational entities. This initiative underscores the importance of arts in education and aims to integrate it thoroughly and equitably across educational landscapes.
