The mission of DHCS is to provide Californians with access to affordable, integrated, high-quality health care, including medical, dental, mental health, substance use disorder treatment and long-term care. Our purpose is to provide equitable access to quality health care, leading to a healthy California for all.
The Capacity and Infrastructure Transition, Expansion, and Development (CITED) Program under PATH is designed to support the transition, expansion, and development of Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports capacity and infrastructure. It encourages coordination among local organizations to apply for CITED funding, which must be used as outlined in their application to Public Consulting Group, the initiative's administrator. Allowable uses for CITED funds include increasing the provider workforce, enhancing health information exchange and infrastructure integration into CalAIM, modifying physical infrastructure to better deliver ECM and Community Supports, purchasing necessary office equipment, monitoring ECM and Community Support services, and outreach to under-resourced and underserved communities for these services.
