Overview

The Community Grant program by the CareSource Foundation is designed to offer responsive grants that align strategically with the foundation's focus areas, especially impacting local needs in served states. These grants, awarded year-round for one-year spans by CareSource Foundation committees in each market, prioritize organizations that introduce innovative solutions, address root causes of problems, incorporate community input in solutions, and aim for meaningful health and wellness improvements. Specifically, these organizations should advance health equity, emphasize diversity, equity, inclusion in service delivery, encourage collaboration, focus on systems change, serve under-resourced communities, and demonstrate sustainable program capacity. Funding requests of $100,000 or more are reviewed by the CareSource Foundation Board of Trustees, with a review process that may take up to 90 days.
