The Glenn Foundation provides annual grants to support organizations engaged in civic, environmental, health, educational, cultural, and human services sectors. Grants are specifically targeted towards agencies in Gaston County or those providing direct services within the county. The Foundation emphasizes integrity, transparency, self-reliance of grantees, fairness, equity, and collaboration with community organizations. It offers seed money and operating grants, excluding planning grants, individual scholarships, and private schools, with a consideration for capital campaign requests and multi-year funding on a case-by-case basis. The Foundation supports areas such as Arts and Culture, Children and Youth Services, Civic, Education, Environment, Health and Science, Human Services, and Religion.
