Overview

The grant is focused on the implementation and evaluation of HIV prevention interventions specifically designed for transgender women. It targets organizations that are deeply integrated and actively working within transgender communities, offering HIV prevention services across up to three distinct areas within their operational region. This could also extend to services provided across the borders of state health department jurisdictions. To be eligible, organizations must already be involved in HIV prevention efforts, have coordinated with state or local health departments on the provision of these services, and received their approval. Furthermore, applicants are required to present various agreements and documents proving their commitment and active service to the HIV prevention needs of transgender women.
